MY THOUGHTS:

I’m sorry, but this review is not going to be a positive one. I got very disappointed in this book. Predictable and borderline ridiculous premise that failed to hook me. I felt very tempted to stop reading, because I didn’t feel invested in the story. I continued reading because I kept hoping there would be some sort of turning point where it would improve and make me gasp in awe. It didn’t.

It didn’t help that it contains lots of editorial mistakes (typos, grammar errors, and even missing words). Because of my job, that really irritates me.

I really don’t have a lot more to say about this book. I will just add this. I don’t think thrillers should end in a sort of cliffhanger with unresolved questions. It’s a poor device to make the reader buy the next book in the series. Well, I won’t be reading it. I’d rather be wowed by an amazing story than be baited with a cliffhanger.

Overall, I cannot recommend this book. At all.

Anyhow, for all of that, I give this book… 2 TEA CUPS!
